Ben Selden

Chief Financial Officer

As Chief Financial Officer, Ben Selden leads Subway’s global finance organization, focused on strengthening the brand’s financial performance and supporting the long-term health of its franchisees.

With more than two decades of financial leadership experience, Ben has a proven track record of driving performance across multi-unit operations in the restaurant, hospitality, and franchise industries. Most recently, he served as interim CFO at Purpose Brands — the parent company of Orangetheory and Anytime Fitness — where he focused on improving franchisee profitability.

Prior to joining Purpose Brands, Ben was CFO at Options Medical Weight Loss and led the development of new financial systems to enhance decision-making and help the company consistently deliver solid earnings results. He has also held senior finance leadership roles at Dave & Buster’s, PetSmart, and QVC.  

Ben earned a bachelor’s degree from The College of William & Mary, a master’s degree from the University of New York at Stony Brook, and an MBA from the University of Chicago.
