Carrie Walsh

President, Europe, Middle East & Africa

Carrie Walsh is the President of Subway Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), responsible for the continued development, profitability and expansion of the brand in the region.

Carrie joined Subway in 2019. Prior to becoming President of EMEA, Carrie successfully led the complete transformation of Subway’s U.S. marketing and menu with the successful launch of the multiyear Eat Fresh Refresh campaign. In 2022, she was promoted to Global Chief Marketing Officer and successfully aligned strategic marketing efforts across the globe.  

Carrie has more than 15 years of experience working in the restaurant, retail and consumer packaged goods industries. Prior to joining Subway, she was the Sr. Vice President, Marketing at Michaels Stores. Carrie previously served as the Chief Marketing Officer at Pizza Hut, US and spent over seven years at PepsiCo in various marketing and brand management roles.

Carrie received her undergraduate degree from Brown University and her MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
